"Keep Austin Wealthy"??

I'm not sure if you've seen these yet, but I saw it this morning for the first time and I can't find any real information about it on the internet. On a Mazda 626, turning from 2222 to head North on 360, was a bumper sticker that said "Keep Austin Wealthy".

My first thought was really? On a Mazda 626? It's not a bad car by any means, but it makes more sense on an oversized Cadillac SUV or a BMW 7 Series, not a Mazda. Patrick says it even makes more sense on a 1970s VW Rabbit (like my Dad had) - kind of an irony thing.

So, is this a snub to the "Keep Austin Weird" campaign? Do these people hate local businesses or do they just want to keep and add more Big Business to our city? Do these people hate the poor? Are they for those horrible McMansions that drive up the cost of property taxes in Hyde Park?

What I am trying to find out is this: What does the "Keep Austin Wealthy" bumper sticker campaign truly mean?

Hmm maybe it's people who think Austin is wealthy and they don't like people who are moving down there based on the belief that it's a sanctuary for the weird?
